The Annual Montgomery County 4-H Fair
August 9 to August 11, 2007
August 9, 7 PM to 9:30 PM—August 10, 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM—August 11, 9:30 AM to 4 PM
Join us for some good old Family Fun!!
2007 Fair Schedule

4-H Baking Contest - "All About The Berry", Friday, August 9th
Judging to start at 7 PM, Entries may be submitted beginning at 6:00 PM
Theme of the Baking contest is "All About The Berry!"
Three main categories - Cake - Pie - Other. Recipe must include a berry.
Individual entrants will be judged according to age:
Youth ages 8-12, Youth ages 13-18
Adult ages 19 plus
Entries with 2 or more participants with combined ages, will be judged as a group.
Entries must be accompanied with the recipe on a 3x5 card.

Be a Show Off!! Enter Your Projects in the Fair!

Please consider entering a project in our Open Classes. Our Open Classes are for all Montgomery County residents. It is a great way to showcase your talents! There are added classes for the 2007 Fair.

 
Our popular Mobile Agriculture Lab, sponsored by the Montgomery County Farm Bureau and maintained by the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and Friends of PA Agriculture Foundation will again be visiting us for the entire Fair. In addition to the open viewing, special demonstration events will be ongoing throughout the Fair. The Mobile Ag Lab has enjoyed a great deal of success this past school year in our Montgomery County school districts. Come see what the buzz is all about!
 

Enter the Pet Show with your Best Friend
Saturday, August 11th!!

The Costume Class at the 2006 Pet Show produced quite a few “characters” and applause! Featured here are the Bat Dog and The Cat In The Hat with Thing One.
Wagon rides are ongoing throughout the fair with a choice of traditional horse drawn wagons or a modern tractor and wagon!
